"We had a great 4 day stay at Liberty Hotel in Catania. It was in a great location for exploring the city and as a hub for sightseeing in the nearby areas of Mt Etna, Taormina, Siracusa, Ortigia and Noto. The hotel was beautifully decorated in art nouveau style. They provided an extensive breakfast and had 24 hour concierge who were knowledgeable and willing to help with travel planning. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers wanting to spend time in Catania and nearby east coast...

"The property is in a residential area. Big gate and on the post , a small signage of the hotel’s name. We spoke to someone on the intercom at the gate, the gate then opens. The property has a rustic charm. Some reviews we’ve read mentioned that the property needs renovation or updates. We think they don’t, it’s part of the charm (for us anyway, who are just visiting Italy).
