"Hey, this is in Venice. There are not many big or fancy hotels in the whole city, and in general prices are high. This hotel was clean and tidy, down a small street. "The property is new so for sure it looked great. I booked it because it is a very short walk to the Mestre Venice train station. It was easy to get to the canals, and I didn't have to pay crazy high prices. Also, I feel much more comfortable in modern clean settings. I was pleasantly surprised by the good restaurants that are very close to the hotel. Micheles, which was right across the street had awesome food. The surrounding neighborhood was not special to stroll, so that was the only negative. But we were there mainly to visit the canals, so it was perfect for that."
