We are so glad we found this gem. Beautiful medieval residence in a historically rich environment! Carlo was an exceptional host, attentive to every detail. We had a wonderful breakfast prepared by him the next morning. If we are in Italy again we will definitely stay here. Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer.

Pico is a medieval village( Borgo)offering the calm and beauty of large valleys. The host of the Nenà, Carlo, welcomes us warmly and takes the time to tell us a little about the history of this beauty located in the heart of the castle. Everything is perfect. The accommodation is warm, the room comfortable, the unique medieval food court is artistic. Parking on the main street coming up from the village is easy and safe. Just in front of the fountain. This is a well-kept secret!

Amazing hotel

Pico and the hotel is an amazing experience, it is such s lovely placerade in Italy. Our host Carlo welcomed us and told us about the collage history and invited us to the local fiesta with BBW, drinks and entertainern. We strongly recommend everyone trevelling from Rome to southern Italy to make a stop and this fantastic hotel ❤️

Amazing time in an amazing place with an amazing host. Absolutely gorgeous property that is over 1000 years old meticulously maintained and overwhelmingly charming. The views are breathtaking. This was a truly unique experience starting from the mountain village town of Pico. Nena' al Borgo Castello has a medieval feel, my room overlooked the countryside, with cool mountain air breezes. Carlo was the ultimate host on the property and sharing local off the beaten path places to see and eat. I highly recommend this beautiful throw back in time retreat!

The property was quite nice. But the photos are better than reality. We were looking for a sharming place to spend the night before we take the ferry to ponza. But were a bit disappointed, the place was much expensive compared to the nice hotel and balaces we went to. The host was nice but we couldnt benefit from breakfast as we left early .
