Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria Uptown

8/10 Good

"On check in, the front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. The rooms were clean, but a bit dated. We ate at the pub upstairs. They were having a live band for entertainment. The food was quite good. Had the fish and chips; the batter was not crispy, but the fish itself was good. Partner had a hamburger and salad. They were both good. For the price, I think it was good value. Both for the room, and dinner. Free parking also provided on site."

Brentwood Bay Resort - Adults Only (16+)

8/10 Good

"All in all the resort was clean and tidy. The staff was great. The pool and hot tub were excellent. However, we were confused about why the steam sauna and cold plunge are only available if you book them for a charge with the spa... The 1st evening we went down for a dip it was all open. There were no signs about having to "reserve" these amenities. So we used them for a short time. The next day there were signs on the door of the sauna saying "reserved". Kind of lame to be in a nice resort and you get nickel and dimed. I would think that if someone wants to have them for themselves then by all means rent them out. Or set up a schedule or something? We used public transit for the most part since we didn't have a car. Easy and cheap. We went to Buckeyes in town every other day for Happy Hour. We will be back next year."
