Top Pitts Rivers Museum Hotel Reviews
Vanbrugh House Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very well situated in the centre of the city. Welcome at the reception was sincere and friendly upon both checking in and out. Lay out of the building was a tad Higglety Pigglety. With that in mind you have to take in to consideration both age of the building and the fact it’s been repurposed from originally possibly being a house/s rather than a hotel. Room was dark with only one spot light fixture in the ceiling of the room, the bedside lamps didn’t really help spread much light. Bedding was fresh and super clean. Bathroom was also super clean with good quality wash products and clean, fresh towels. Don’t recommend staying if you have mobility issues as there were many stairs and no lift. But otherwise it’s a quaint place to stay, but over priced in my opinion."
The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton
8/10 Good
"This is a big fancy hotel. We have stayed here before. It’s well-maintained and the staff seem friendly. But there are details that made this a less than excellent stay. Our room was literally blocks away from the front entrance - our GPS got confused when we were planning outtings— so if you’re not looking to get extra steps make sure to ask for a closer one when you check in. The bathroom was well appointed but the shower leaked and the sink was very slow to drain. There was an Nespresso machine in the room, but most of the coffee we were given was decaf. When we tried to order coffee to go downstairs they didn’t have any paper cups. So it was good - but not excellent."
Premier Inn Oxford City Centre - Westgate
8/10 Good
"The staff were very helpful and professional."
The Buttery Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel frontage is extremely small. Blink and you will miss it. Lots of narrow stairs to navigate. (No lift. Old book shop). Room was spacious. With TV and tea making facilities. Bathroom ok. But shower was a little temperamental. Location is very central to all attractions and railway station."
The Store
