"Checking in was a breeze with a very professional person at the desk. The room was very nice and clean. I have no complaints except for the fact it was very expensive, way to expensive for Placerville CA to just get a few hours sleep. That has nothing to do with the service or the room but come on Placerville???????????"

"We spent the day in Apple Hill, and checked in at 3:30. We walked up and down the quaint Main Street of Placerville, and had dinner at a restaurant that was recommended by the hotel. Dinner at Brick's was yummy, and a short stroll from the Hotel. We slept well and got up and went to coffee at Cuppa in the morning. The only small issue we had was the trash being collected at 5:30 am, (This is a city issue, not hotel) Enjoy your stay"

"Very clean and extremely reasonable expectations from the host. Everything worked, no problems. We did a rafting trip and it was well located. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. "

"Perfect location near downtown Placerville and not far from the start of the Apple Hill region. Everything was outstanding! Owners were very nice and Sandra, the Owner’s sister checked on us to ensure our stay was going well. It’s a nice, quiet, quaint cottage and met our needs very well. We enjoyed the private deck next to the fountain and pond with some wine one evening. Highly recommend! "

"Wow! The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous with spectacular views. The breakfast was the best! So delicious! We just loved the pool with a waterfall and slide. Every touch was amazing - super comfy bed, robes, arriving with the mini fridge already cool, wine glasses and pool towels ready. Our only regret was not booking another night. Can’t wait to return!!"

"This was a peaceful retreat from all the wedding events! We had everything we needed, including a late night swim to relax after the wedding. It is so close to town but it feels like a true get away from everything!"
