"What an amazing time we had staying in this sweet cottage in one of the most picturesque places in Michigan. We had all of our essential needs met since the cottage was well-equipped with supplies, and it was in the perfect location to Sleeping Bear Dunes, our favorite Up North towns, and access to Lake Michigan. We really enjoyed having access to Platte Lake and the great view with our morning coffee, our very own fire pit, and barbecue. We are looking forward to planning more trips to the Roadhouse!"

"I love this house, love this lake, love this area. Out of all the vacations, these are the most peaceful and relaxing. This was my second time here and it was even better. Swimming, kayaking, fishing, hikes at the dunes or lake Michigan, old towns to visit, fires and ice cream at night. It's the best! Dan the property owner is responsive and cares about making this a great trip for guests. My boys really enjoy it here."

"This property was the perfect getaway for our multigenerational group. The lake was very shallow near the dock, perfect for the little kids to play. The multitiered deck area offered lots of comfortable places for the adults to supervise and enjoy the view.The bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and accommodating. There were actually two sets of staircases leading upstairs. (A nice feature!) This allowed the early bird grandparents to head downstairs for a coffee in the morning without waking others. In addition to the three bedrooms, there was a large landing area upstairs, where the kids enjoyed playing games. This part of Northern Michigan can’t be beat. We enjoyed the dunes, all sorts of swimming, and several adorable beach towns nearby. We will be reminiscing on this wonderful experience for many years to come. Thanks for the great stay!"
