Sunridge Lodge is part of Sunridge Retreats, our small collection of unique countryside stays in the beautiful South Hams in Devon.

If Sunridge Lodge is fully booked on your requested dates, please also look for Sunridge Geodome, Sunridge Cube 1, Sunridge Cube 2 and Sunridge EcoPod, each with its own private hot tub.

🏡 SUNRIDGE LODGE

Originally a dairy barn, Sunridge Lodge has been converted into a stylish countryside retreat combining its rustic character with contemporary interiors, modern technology and plenty of comfort.

The Lodge is completely self-contained and exclusively yours during your stay, with its own private hot tub, garden and detached 5-metre cinema and games room known as The Cinema Hub.

Sleeps 1–5 guests.

🛏️ SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

Sunridge Lodge includes:

✔ 1 king-size bedroom
✔ Open mezzanine with 2 single beds
✔ Optional floor bed for a 5th guest, best suited to a child or smaller adult
✔ Smart TVs in the sleeping areas

Bedding and standard bathroom towels are provided for the main sleeping arrangements.

Please bring older towels for hot tub use, as chlorine may mark or discolour the bathroom towels provided.

The contemporary bathroom includes a large walk-in drench shower with mood lighting, together with toilet, basin and heated towel rail.

Immediately outside the Lodge is your own private garden and outdoor area surrounded by Devon countryside and wildlife.

The elevated deck is a lovely spot for outdoor dining or relaxing above the garden and hot tub.

The Lodge grounds are regularly visited by birds, squirrels and other local wildlife, while foxes and badgers are sometimes seen after dark.

🔥 For fire safety, barbecues, disposable barbecues, campfires, firepits and other outdoor naked flames are not permitted anywhere on site.

🛁 PRIVATE HOT TUB

The private 5-person hot tub is exclusively for Lodge guests and includes adjustable jets and mood lighting.

Whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a cold evening beneath the stars, it’s a lovely place to switch off and relax.

Please bring older towels for hot tub use.

🎬 THE CINEMA HUB

A few steps across the Lodge garden is The Cinema Hub, a completely private entertainment space exclusively for Sunridge Lodge guests.

This detached room includes:

Large patio doors can be opened onto the Hub deck during warmer weather, while blackout curtains transform the room into a proper cinema whenever you want to disappear into a film or gaming session.

The Hub does not have its own bathroom, but the Lodge is only a few steps away.

🎣 OPTIONAL COARSE CARP FISHING

Sunridge Lodge guests may request access to our private wildlife lake for coarse carp fishing.

The lake is shared only with guests staying at Sunridge Geodome and Sunridge Treehouse.

Fishing must be arranged in advance and pass fees apply.

Guests must:

✔ Bring their own rods
✔ Hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence
✔ Use barbless hooks only
✔ Not use keepnets
✔ Not swim in the lake

The lake is around 100 metres from the Lodge and is also a peaceful place to enjoy the surrounding wildlife and countryside.

🐾 DOG-FRIENDLY

Sunridge Lodge welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs. Pet fees apply.

Please bring dog blankets to protect sofas, beds and other soft furnishings.

Dogs must not be left unattended inside the Lodge and are not permitted inside The Cinema Hub.

📍 LOCATION

Sunridge Lodge is set within approximately four acres of countryside in Devon’s beautiful South Hams.

Despite its peaceful rural position, it is within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park, Mothecombe Beach, Bigbury-on-Sea, the Salcombe coast and some excellent local pubs, including The Ship Inn at Noss Mayo and The Rose & Crown in Yealmpton.

It makes a lovely base for countryside walks, beach days, exploring South Devon, fishing or simply staying put and enjoying the hot tub and cinema.

🚗 PARKING & ACCESS

Parking is available close to the Lodge, by the large pots near the hot tub.

Self check-in details will be provided before arrival.
