"My husband and I was celebrating our 16 year wedding Anniversary this year and I love being near any form of water. Margaret and Jesse's cottage was perfect for us to getaway, relax and reconnect with one another. From the beautiful scenic views of the monstrous mountains to the river/creek literally a few steps away from the door everything was perfect! Oh and did I mention the cottage was clean, organized and cozy with a working fire place and a large hot tub to top it all off! We found our forever getaway with this property and Will recommend for anyone to visit and enjoy!"

"Front desk staff very friendly and informative. Told us about many of the amenities at the hotel as well as what was available in the surrounding local area. Rooms were very clean. Overall hotel was very clean and modern. Including breakfast and cookies and coffee in the lobby."

"The place exceeded our expectations. Well situated good looking property with all the amenities. The host was attentive and responsive. The decor is fish camp corny but totally enjoyable and well done. Very clean throughout and well equipped. Substantial and flexible HVAC setup. The hot tub was pristine. Two fire circles and lot’s of grassy river frontage and lawn. Perfect for 2 adults plus kids. The word, “Pefect” were uttered several times during our stay. That’s rare!"

"What an amazing place! We were in the area for a few days on a disc golf vacation (#1 rated course in PA is a short drive away!) and this was the perfect place for our trip. A great hot tub for recovering and relaxing after a ton of walking, and all the amenities you could ask for. The kuereg got a ton of use (thanks for providing the kcups!) and the kitchen and grill were stocked with utensils and cookware and ready to go. The deck and pool are immaculate and perfect for get together or just hanging out. 1,000,000/10 stars, haha. This is what all rental properties should be like. Kudos to the host and great job and property! We will be back to stay and take on Faylor Lake DGC again soon!"

"It’s a cute place. Definitely accessible for mobility impaired. Hosts were responsive. The porch was great. Pictures were accurate. It was great that there was a pool and a hot tub. This probably had the best stocked kitchen in terms of gadgets at vacation rentals. We had a great time we go to state college every couple of years and this has been our best stay yet."
