"Very cool building with a great shared outdoor space. It's definitely a hostel/hotel hybrid, meaning you might be impacted by other guests turning on hallway lights (uncovered windows above doors so light shines through) and limited privacy (shared balconies with guests walking by windows). "

"This is not a 'traditional' hotel with lobby but there is someone on-site to answer any questions and greet you during the day. The building is a restored department store and has lots of character/history but is completely renovated. There is daily cleaning service, a kitchenette with 2-burner stove top, dishes etc for 2, a mini-fridge and surprisingly we managed to make a simple meal and breakfast there. It's nice to have the cafe in the building as well. We were able to drop off our luggage...

"We had a nice stay at this property. We had a standard room which was small but adequate. Our main gripe was that the bed was tiny. The hotel advertises it as a double but we found it very small, and we are not big people. Why can't hotels provide bigger beds?? There's lots of space to accommodate them. Having said that, the facilities in the room were good. There was a safe, a fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. Coffee pods were replaced daily when used. The bathroom was large with a tub...

"Great place to stay. Not crowded like Ponta Delgada. Is in a residential area, with a 2 minute walk to the shoreline. Nice area to walk along shore, a small ocean bay with a swimming within a 10 minute walk. Stayed on the second floor, they advertise you dont have a ocean view, but ocean was viewable as well a shore line to the west. Very clean, modern and quiet."
