for an affordable price in a gorgeous, exotic island. This hotel was very modern and minimalist in design. The staff and the amenities were first class. The free breakfast every morning was world class and high quality. Best money I ever spent on a vacation. Highly recommend renting a car to see the full island, going on tours just doesn’t cut it. It better to wander freely and discover the magic of the Azores by car."

"This is a great hotel in the centre of everything. I would class it as a boutique hotel with a lot of character including an open landing with seating area and library. I used the top pool area quite a bit in the mornings and it was generally quiet. The gym is there too and was being upgraded with new equipment when I was there. Breakfast was the usual tasty fair and a good way to set up the day. I also ate there twice in the evening and really enjoyed the food both times. The restaurant...
