"Our suite room was large and clean albeit pretty basic. That said, the food at dinner was very good and the breakfast too, with friendly serving staff. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and changing rooms etc need a modern refresh, but the hotel is very reasonably priced and only a few minutes drive from the start of the Pen Y Fan walking trail so all in all a decent choice."

"What a lovely Guesthouse to stay at in the Brecon Beacons. Moira was a delight and all the staff were really friendly, welcoming and very helpful in making suggestions on places we could go nearby. Great location too! I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the Brecons!"

"Really fantastic and well furnished cottage. The location is great with 2 pubs within a 3 minute walk. The BBQ hut and outdoor seating is perfect and the kitchen had basics available like fruit teas, oil, salt, pepper ect. The only reason for no 5 stars is the bed in the second bedroom is a small double/large single and not big enough for 2 adults. There is also no gate on the front garden seating area which meets directly to the road, so inappropriate for dogs. I would however stay again but only as a couple."

"We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊"
