"Honestly, we expected the hotel to be good, but it actually surpassed our expectations in pretty much every way. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the minute we walked in the door, but never fussy. We were able to just switch off and relax, but there was always someone around when we needed them. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all fantastic and the wine from the vineyard was terrific. "Clean, friendly, room ok with lovely balcony and view. No lift Dinner ok for me.(Pork chops) not for my wife . Breakfast ok but coffee awful. I had fresh fruit, yogor, toast, juice and tea. Hot was scrambled egg (it ran out( and tiny sausages. No vale la pena. Super lady and young M an at reception and bar."

"A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!"

"The hotel was nothing short of beautiful.The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here."
