"Trying to find the hotel is very difficult, no signage sticking out only flat on the wall. I was sent an email with directions, however, I didn’t see it as went to junk (not the hotels fault). Other guests I spoke to had the same issue. It might be worth adding directions on to the advert just incase people don’t see the email. On night 1 after dinner, suddenly all the lights went out and we had to move rooms, Staff took quick action and moved us to another room within 10 mins. The room was clean, although the door was dusty where they replaced the handle/key card swipe. The bottom of the toilet pan had sand/grit/stone in it. There are also no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. The rooms are not like the pictures which is misleading. On day 2, we returned to the hotel in the afternoon and our key weren’t working. We went down to reception and quickly re validated the key cards so we could access the room. On day 3, we came back to our room in the afternoon to but our feet up. There was constant banging on the walls, so hard it was shaking the walls from work being done. The rooms are very warm, the first one we stayed in had one window and you could open it by about 4 inches. The room we were moved too had 2 windows and both could be opened all the way. I do hope this was all just teething problems for the hotel, as its a handy location and the staff were friendly and helpful at what was clearly a stressful time."
