Staff were very pleasant . Breakfast offering was very good with attentive service. Unfortunately the additional bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable. It needs to be thrown away, Shame.

Overall, it's good but a mixed bag in some aspects. Staff were excellent, room was comfortable but needed some tlc...cracked vanity mirror/mould marks on shower room ceiling/shower head needs limescale cleaning/one set of guest towels not put out. Breakfast was excellent quality, dinner was also good quality, at "top end pub" prices. Very small bar, bottled beers only. Definitely worth paying for reserved parking spaces as local streets are very narrow and very busy. Good location for both Southsea town and seafront. Overall, a positive experience and would definitely consider again!

Nice Hotel

Nice clean room, my room was a little small, but comfy none the less, Make sure you book parking as the side street are very narrow and double yellow lines. The food was excellent!

Beautiful hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help. Location was ideal. Dinning was a bit expensive but saying that, it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation.

Exceeded my expectations, very good central location for Southsea and easy walk into Portsmouth. Off road Parking is worth the extra as nearby streets are narrow for on road parking. The Staff are all great, the spacious room with comfortable bed and excellent breakfast - what more one ask for. We will return in spring to meet up with friends again.

Second time I have stayed here - nice big rooms, really comfy bed, very clean and staff are lovely. Breakfast was very nice too. Only negative is thay parking can be a challenge, but managed to get parked on the street a short walk away both times. The hotel provides permits for parking FOC.

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach as well as restaurants. Parking is a nightmare if you wish for a free on-street parking permit though yo can upgrade to a reserved space for extra. The room was nice, if a little basic and the bathroom had no blinds or shutters on windows that can be looked through from the apartment block across the way. Staff were really friendly also. I had a good night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was in a lovely setting and was cooked perfectly.

The property is in an old Edwardian home. Only issue is there is no lift & the stairs are steep. The staff was very accommodating & helped us with our luggage always. The dining room is very comfortable & the food is very good. The adjacent pub down the street is associated with the property & a short walking distance.

Amazing Boutique group of Hotels. Highly recommend

Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day long and this will be out go to hotel chain in Southsea. A great find. Tip do book your parking though as the streets are narrow and not much street parking, so worth having the piece of mind you have a car park space ready for you

Beautiful boutique hotel highly recommend.

Beautiful victorian buildings which was so tastefuly decorated and so luxurious. Our bedroom no.5 was stunning and loved the wall paper. Must find where to purchase. The staff were so friendly and very tentative. It was our anniversary and there was a card left in our room when we arrived, very nice touch. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast which was delicious. Loved the pizzas, lamb and beef burgers all homemade fab. Walked 35 minutes to Gunwalk keys along the sea front lovely strole. Highly recommend and will visit again for sure. Thankyou.

Good overall

Very nice hotel. Beds are really comfortable & a quiet position. Didn't eat at the hotel as we met up with family & friends who live in Southsea, therefore we ate at various restaurants etc. The only thing that annoyed me a little was that I was under the impression we paid on checkout, only to be told payment had been taken 2 days before our arrival. I do think, out of courtesy I should have been advised of this.
