The best hotel. It was very elegant. Rooms were beautiful and decor was just amazing. The library was quiet and had a lot of books. The hotel was initially a home for retired sailors, then turned into a hotel. It was so beautiful worth interesting things everywhere to look at. Beds were excellent and rooms very clean. Hotel was very tired and in need of refurb, room was well used, bed sank, windows looked out at other windows and was not private, couldn’t open windows or curtains. Music till early hours blasting from party in hotel - didn’t bother with any food. Clean though and receptionist was lovely and helpful.
