Spacious, generously furnished house in a row of ancient fishermen’s houses

"Véritable coup de cœur pour cette maison spacieuse, propre et son jardin magnifique. Au bout du jardin, une porte donne directement accès à l’océan et à un petit restaurant sympa. Il y a des ventilateurs un peu partout dans la maison et des moustiquaires aux fenêtres. La cuisine n’a pas de micro-ondes mais dispose de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Il est facile de trouver à se garer à proximité de la maison. Il y a un supermarché tout près et plusieurs restaurants à des distances raisonnables à pied ou en voiture. La chatte est adorable, sa nourriture et sa litière sont évidemment fournies. Elle n’est pas fan de caresses mais n’est pas agressive. Rita est très efficace quand on la contacte. Pour être transparente, il y a deux points négatifs : la literie aurait besoin d’un renouveau et il y a, j’imagine, un souci avec la fosse septique qui impose de jeter le papier toilette à la poubelle et laisse une odeur désagréable dans une des 3 salle de bains. Cela dit, si nous revenons à Sao Miguel, ce sera sans doute notre point de chute, tant la maison et son jardin sont agréables."

"Owners are fabulous. Property is perfect — nice and functional. Had everything our adventurous family of 3 (child age 7) needed to enjoy our 8 day stay in the Azores. Beach club right across the street is AWESOME, as are the views from the balcony. 100%. Best restaurant on the island is across the street as well - BocaBerta. Will definitely be recommending this property to all of our family and friends visiting the Azores."
Cozy apartment on the south coast with sea views

"This is an amazing place on many levels. The location is perfect to be able to explore the entire island and Lagoa is not very touristy and is quiet. The apartment is so beautiful. I feel like I am in a home that was created with love and artistry. All the furnishings, art on the walls and tile work makes it very special. There are two balconies so you can sit out and see the water and the sunset and eat. The host Karen is very responsive and also very interesting. We got lost finding the place and she responded immediately. I hope to stay here again if I come back. The place is quite large and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to stay here. I will remember Karen and this apartment as a highlight of my visit to the Azores. Thank you."

"L'hôtel nous attendait à l'arrivée, nous a fait faire le tour de la maison, expliqué les équipements. Envoi via WathsApp des coordonnées épiceries, restaurants, choses à voir. A vérifié le lendemain si tout allait bien, si on avait des questions. Belle vue du balcon d'où nous avons pris la majorité de nos repas. Voyons lapins traverser le terrain et parfois le paon du voisin. Entendons le coq, l'âne et les tourterelles."
