Great hotel in quiet but handy location
Wonderful hotel in great location near Republik square so super handy for walkiny/getting bus or tram routes, but tucked away so nice and quiet for sleeping. Reception staff were very friendly and gave a very warm welcome. Good breakfast included. Only complaints: walls a little thin, could hear tvs going at night, also beds were very comfy but the worst pillows we've ever seen- no support! Would definitely still stay again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day-stay in Prague! As we wanted to do plenty of sightseeing, we picked the hotel for its convenient location and we were not disappointed. Our superior double room was compact but comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was included; there was a good selection of food on offer every morning.

Make double certain you have the right MOODs hotel
Comfortable bed! Good ac and windows that open. MANY breakfast choices, all good. Pleasant staff. BUT be very careful that you know which MOODs Hotel you have booked. I didn’t realize there were two of them. If I had not reserved their shuttle from the airport, I would have taken us to the wrong hotel.

Basically in the overall all was good. Our only situation was that the room air condition works properly the first two days but the next two was almost none. We need to open the windows to use outside temperature.

Excellent hotel location, couple blocks from vltava river. The hotel is clean and provides great hospitality breakfast. The staffs were very helpful. Bed is comfortable.

Location very good, close to all of the interesting sights of Prague. Good breakfast selection to start the day. Hotel was very clean and daily housekeeping made the room very comfortable.

The hotel is nice and not a bad location. Perhaps a 3 minute walk from the intersection with Dlouha street, and a further 5 minutes to the old town. However the room was a little small and the hotel is perhaps in need of a bit of refurbishment here and there. Fittings like clothes hooks were hanging off for example. Good stay
Great stay, great breakfast, and good location. Close to a running trail (few hundred metres away); close to old town square (10-15 minute walk) and good neighbourhood restaurants (Czech, Indian, Vietnamese, etc.). Overall, recommend the MOOD. The one downside was very weak Wi-Fi in room - could be location of room, but tried to stream movie before sleeping and had very difficult time staying connected. If you anticipate watching anything to unwind, recommend downloading before arrival.

The staff were really informative about where things were in the city and how to get to them which was really helpful! The massages we had were also fantastic.. I would definitely recommend! The rooms were lovely and clean. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast selection isn’t great (i’m an extremely fussy eater and vegan so it might just be my opinion!)

Well run little hotel, great position!
We stayed at Moods for 3 nights to explore Prague. Really liked the area: nice and quiet, away from tourist crowds, but only a few minutes' walk from the major old town sights and roughly half hour walk over the bridges to the Castle. The hotel was really well run: young, friendly staff always at reception to say hello and help with any queries, room was beautifully cleaned every day, bed was really comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was good quality: a reasonable selection of hot and cold dishes and a coffee machine for cappuccinos/lattes as well as filter coffee. We never had a problem with it being too busy, as the opening hours (6.30-11) were very long. We did find that the default setting (22C) on the room heating was a little hot, so had to keep opening the windows as there was no way of turning it down (the aircon only operates in the summer apparently). Just to warn: a lot of the rooms (ours included) look out on to the central courtyard which contains the breakfast room (a modern glass box structure). We were initially worried that everyone eating breakfast would see straight in to our room (particularly as we were on the ground floor), but having done a thorough testing (lights on and off) we can reassure potential guests that it is not possible to see into the bedrooms from the restaurant! It does take a little getting used to, though.... We found the rates (in early March) very reasonable, and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Disappointing.
Unpleasant stay. Our group had 5 rooms reserved. All rooms had no working AC - difficult considering our visit was during their “Indian Summer”. Hotel provided an electric fan which barely worked. The coffee cup provided in the room was used. Front desk person was polite but spoke little English. Could not understand a simple request for a luggage rack. When they finally figured it out, was told hotel doesn’t provide any. Not sure of criteria used for hotel classes but this place definitely didn’t feel like a 4 star. I would say 3 if at all, more like a 2. Many other options closer to the city center with better amenities. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed at this hotel in September for 4 nights. We arrived in the evening and check-in was straight forward and pretty quick. We were shown to our room, which was on the ground floor. This is a decent size room, however the window looks straight into the restaurant area. Which is basically a glass outhouse. We tried to change rooms, but the others available were not as big, so we decided to stay with it overnight and see how it was in the morning. Unfortunately, it was no better, even though you couldn't really see into the room, from the restaurant, you felt over looked and this resulted in us not really opening the curtains. So it's a pretty dark room unless you have the lights on. We didn't spend much time in the room, bit when we did after a long day walking around siteseeing the WiFi was pretty unusable and the only English channel available was CNN. I read this in a review before, and thought why would you even mention it, but seriously when you can't access the internet , that's all your left with. I now know everything there is to know about the Brett kavanaugh incident! Breakfast was really good and sets you up for the day

Great Hotel
A really nice, modern hotel. The hotel is located really close to the main square in Prague, only being a short 10 minute walk. Very close to corner shops. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel decor is lovely! Great breakfast selection and overall a really good stay - couldn’t fault it!

Moods is lovely, and the staff were wonderful. The breakfasts are good, and the bar was very reasonably priced. The shower was off taps from the bath, and as such went a bit hot and cold. All in all, a great little hotel, in walking distance of everything.

Excellent staff, very warm friendly welcome. Allowed to check in at midday. The room was stylish but few cosmetic flaws. Nothing major. The big issue for me was the aircon didn't work. It was 20c outside but felt so warm inside. I spoke to reception and understand half the hotel doesn't have functioning AC. The breakfast was nice, but fairly limited options.

Perfect stay
Everything was great. Stuff r very helpful and passion. Even we had check out at 12pm. We could leave our luggage in the hotel and could go to the town. Breakfast has big variethy of delicious food.

Found the room too hot. Room overall spacious and clean though walls shabby. Booked a Thai back massage - no introduction with masseuse about pressure points etc taken to a dark room and her technique was questionable as she was straddling me (?) did not feel relaxed. Gave feedback to staff, had to pay full price nonetheless. Overall wouldn't stay there again.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great area
We had a better than expected experience at Moods. The staff are very helpful and gave us great tips for restaurants and bars and were always keen to help with anything. Honestly, didn't have any complaints at all except that the room size is slightly small for 2 people. But the decor and the fact they are immaculate makes up for it. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are only looking for bed and breakfast type of stay as there is no restaurant in the hotel.
