The entire staff was wonderful. We had an easy walk to the main square of the Old Town. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was great. We highly recommend this hotel.

Love the property and beer tour. The parking was about .5 miles away but to get to it was 1.5 and almost a 25-30 min drive. It’s right in the city center and lots to see and do! I recommend trying the restaurant and the beer room was the best! They have a nice breakfast in the morning. The front desk staff are super nice and love to talk with you. Lots of regulars in garage and stay for work.

What a wonderful hotel, such helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in the beer room and it was perfect, topped up each day as our room was cleaned & the beer toiletries were lovely too. Perfect location, walking distance to the station which leads to the airport / multiple tram stops for within the city. Just around the corner from the main square too, a beautiful city. Would stay again :)

Overall, we had a great time! The hotel is quaint and the novelty of the beer bath is pretty great, though we likely won't do it again in the future. Great location in easy walking distance of the old town and the castle (worth the extra hike). Having the brewery attached was great when we arrived and were very jetlagged, but there are also plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Excellent choice for someone who doesn't want to spend too much but still gets to experience a unique antique setting living in an old brewery few centuries old and direct access to a good pint of beer without even leaving the hotel. 10 min walk to most of attractions.

4 night stay in room 114, one of the beer suites with a large copper bathtub in the room having a beer tap affixed (quota of 5 litres per day)! Hotel in a great location, stone’s throw from Old Town Square and walkable distance to pretty much everywhere. Area is safe and lively in terms of vehicle traffic and footfall. Hotel has a great pub and restaurant, staff were really friendly, polite and helpful and breakfast was brilliant, plenty of hot and cold choice. Will definitely return to U Medvidku.

U Medvidku - Brewery Hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in Prague. The location is fantastic, easily walkable to all the sites, pubs, and restaurants in Old Town as well as Wenceslas Square, Reduta Jazz Club, and the National Theatre. It was also just a block from a key tram stop and a Metro station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The in-house restaurant was very good. The only weakness was a relatively mediocre WiFi signal in our room. I would very gladly stay there again.

U Medvidku - Brewery Hotel is a centrally located boutique hotel that is also a brewery. The staff are very helpful, especially to us who do not speak the Czech language. It is in a great location to be able to walk to most tourist attractions.

The hotel was comfortable, the room was nicely furnished and the restroom was spacious. The location was provided easy access to many local attractions, the main square and its attractions were very near, Charles bridge was a short walk away. The no 23 tram which runs up to the Castle was only a few blocks away. Beer and food were readily available at the restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast buffet was good with many choices. We would stay there again.

Location is fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. Room for a family was perfect. There's no fridge in the room but the reception happily store things in their fridge for you. There is no air conditioning in room 103 but the staff again happily provided an extra fan (it was unseasonably hot during our visit). The buffet breakfast was fantastic. We also visited the restaurant/bar and the beer, food and service was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and location! The staff are also very nice and helpful. My only complaint is the beer tap room is a bit noisy. Hard to sleep at night. The air conditioning and the tap both make noises throughout the night. I am just a light sleeper. But I would definitely stay here again. We loved the hotel!!

Great value, good location, brilliant service
This was a brilliant, good value stay in Prague. I was travelling solo so I booked one of their single rooms - but I was pleasantly surprised to be put in a double. The breakfast was cracking and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was a little stuffy as the weather was so hot but I did have a fan in the room which was a life saver!

excellent position and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rustic hotel with restaurant and beer on site, perfect combination. Building and facilities have rustic charm and character, 8 mins walk from the old town sites.

Room with beer is a treat
I really enjoyed this cute hotel above a brewery and restaurant. The front desk people were always helpful. I chose the beer room which was a real treat. So unique to have beer on tap in your room! Yes, you can drink as much as you want!

Very nice. The location is very good. Its right on the edge of the old old town and the slightly less old old town. The old town is a short walk away but after too many "pivo" the medieval streets can be a challenge. They have an very good attached bar and restaurant.

The best hotel you could book for Prague! Great location. 15 minutes max walking distance from everything we needed. Friendly staff and extremely helpful. Easy check in and looked after bags and booked taxis. Good breakfast within room rate. We booked the beer bath room and so worth it!! The beer spa was also really good. Best holiday we’ve been on and recommend it entirely.

We loved our stay here! We stayed in the beer room and the tub was such a nice added bonus. We learned about Czech beer having foam and enjoyed the brewery down below with the snacks. Would highly recommend staying here as it’s close to everything and a really authentic stay!

Average hotel that disappointed. Parking non-existant in the area and we were directed to a multi story 2km away which didn't have any spaces. Hosts were okay but the hotel is in a residential area and despite the pictures, you don't get a beer tap in your bath.

Parking in general is limited in our area, because we are located in the narrow historical center of Prague, so we recommend guests to book in advance parking spaces in nearby parking garages. The hotel has several types of rooms, one of which is the Exclusive Beer Room, which has a bathtub with the possibility of tapping beer. These rooms are only 3 in the hotel. You have ordered a standard double room, which is equipped with a standard bathroom with shower or bath. All information, including photos, is also given in the description of each room. Highly recommended
Lovely hotel in a fantastic area, lots of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, we had the premium room in the eves and it was huge, great kingsize comfortable bed. The breakfast is plentiful with something for everyone (my only thing was they could do with a larger toaster). Staff were always warm, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended. Come stay here, you will not be dissapointed

Delightful hotel
We stayed three nights here, the hotel is an absolute gem, superb location in the old town, but a few minutes walk from the Metro, the food was excellent - go for the pork schnitzel!! The beer likewsie superb. The room was very clean, had all the basics and a good shower.

What a unique place to stay in!! The on-site restaurant is fantastic! Please do anticipate difficulty with parking if you bring a car (not attributed to the hotel, it’s an overall city limitation)

Brewery Hotel
We loved staying at U Medvedku. We are not 5-star hotel travelers. We look for cleanliness, comfort and the feeling that we are getting a taste of the local culture. We travel a lot. This is now one of our all-time top 10 hotels in the world. The location is incredible. The hotel, restaurant, and brewery gave us the feeling of being Czechs, even though we don't speak the language. AND, they give a gratis ample sized beer at checkin.
