"We stayed as a family of four. There were building works ongoing, which we did not know about before, but were informed of immediately when we checked in. The dining room and bar were not available but the hotel did offer a breakfast bag option as an alternative. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable and there was aircon and a fan provided which was good. The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped. The location is great, a 10 minute walk into the centre of Tour and we managed to park on the street outside the hotel for free. We booked through Hotels.com and the booking said we got a free drink on arrival, we were not offered that but I assume that is because of the maintenance works."

The charm of a family home in Tours

"We had an outstanding stay in Tours. This property is exactly as advertised and a wonderful location and environment to vacation with friends and family. We spent more than 4 weeks here touring the town and surrounding castles and loved every minute despite the tremendous heat. The house is spacious and comfortable and well appointed with everything one needs to cook, relax, or easily get to restaurants, supermarkets or pharmacies. It has a fan for every bedroom (and we bought another 2!) and has 3 bathrooms with 3 showers. Our favorite part of the house was the outdoor patio in a private garden. The old town and the train station are an easy 15 minute walk from the property which is located in a safe, quiet, family-orientated neighborhood. Marie was easy to communicate with, responsive, and super helpful with anything and everything we needed. Other than the brutal canicule (heat wave), both Tours and the house were charming, lovely and so much fun. Highly recommend this property!"

"Reception staff very helpful with good instructions as you need a couple of codes for the out of hours door and car park door. Apartment was a good size with a useful kitchenette. Parking was easy access on the level with plenty of space. Handy supermarket next door with cheap fuel pumps. Easy walking distance to centre of Tours (10 mins)"
