Stanco is a small village but the local shop in Grizzana is well stocked and larger supermarkets are available in nearby towns. "Great place for home base in Bologna. Near to the train station. Pretty close to historic areas. Comfortable and secure."

"Isolated. Have to walk up a Hill for 30 minutes with luggage. First supermarkt is in another village. ( Marzabotto ) We walked for 40 minutes to buy Some food and water. We booked and payed for 3 nights but left afther 1 night. Never met te owner in person, only spoke through whats app. The studio is really nice and okay and nature surronding has beauty but there is nothing you can do with it. There is nothing there. You need a car and that should be very clear when you book!"

"We had a lovely stay! The garden apartment is even nicer than in photos - very clean, cozy and comfortable. Alessandro's family was welcoming and friendly - Gregorio met with us at check-in, showed us around and remained available to help with any questions. The private patio under the trees was a fantastic place to sit with a morning coffee or a casual dinner in the evening, and the pool and the views were absolutely amazing! We were thankful for the air conditioning too, as it was a hot week....

"What a wonderful property! Quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance of the town center. Plenty of close options for food or groceries. The property was clean and well appointed. Silvia was an amazing host and very helpful!"

"6Stanco is a magical place to stay if you enjoy being away from people but want to still have close access to Bologna or Modena. The space is very family friendly and the pool and Ruth’s family are such a fun enjoyble company! If you are looking for a mountain retreat, this is it!"

"The property was very spacious and comfortable. The air con made a huge difference in 35 degrees heat! Everything in central Bologna was so easily accessible by foot. The only small.downside was street noise overnight and early morning- windows not very soundproof "
