Nice resort do wish the food was hotter other wise great older resort food was great though

Outstanding resort! We had a wonderful week at Fiesta Americana in Cancun from 5/24-5/29, The hotels grand lobby is beautiful and the food offerings are incredible and everything on the menu is delicious. This place felt like a dream and the wonderful staff were all very kind and service is outstanding. The only downside is the Algae on the beach, the resorts are doing their best to clean it up but there’s just so much seaweed bloom during our stay unfortunately. Now, make sure to also tour downtown for shopping and more food and if you’d like to check out the nightlife, go to the Congo Bongo area for some fun dancing and music. On the weekends, there’s also some cultural shows in the Mercado 28 area as well. Great place to do shopping and more eating lol. Best to have cash Mexican peso on you because the stores will charge ?? tax and service fees of up to 20% if you’re not careful. DON’T exchange your USD at the airports since their rate is terrible, we got a 13mexpeso for $1 when the rate is 18mxp. Go to your bank if you can or go to Walmart.

This resort was a great choice! Modern, stylish, clean, and great staff. 15 minutes from Cancun airport so you can’t beat that. Different building layout than the traditional resorts in Mexico. It’s one continuous building and requires a ton of walking. So have some comfy shoes ready!

Every thing was wondering including the bartender in the lobby bar fernando rizo always offered nee drinks and was always friendly with a smile 😃
