"This might be one of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed at, and it was perfect for my solo travels in Europe! The location is right by the main train station, with Old Town and most other attractions only a 10 to 20 minute walk away. The room was in great condition, simple and ideal for a solo experienced traveler who needed a place to stay. The bed was very comfortable! The decor within the hotel hallways and lobby feels extravagant, but nothing compares to the adjacent restaurant which offers guests a delicious breakfast buffet (mine was included in the reservation). I definitely plan on coming back!"
"Property had very convenient location, was incredibly clean and quiet. The pastries provided in the morning were really good as well and provided a good start to the day."
"Great location just 5 minutes walk from station and an easy 20 minute walk to the centre of city (Marienplatz). Free coffee/tea and water in lobby. If you opt out of a room clean you get a voucher for 10 € to spend on drinks or snacks at reception. Room very comfortable and clean, small bathroom but clean and functional. Lovely staff. If taking a fairytale castle tour (recommended - Gray Line) or a bike tour (fat tire) then the meeting point for these tours is just 10 minutes walk from hotel at Karlsplatz, so very convenient. If using google maps note there are 2 kings hotels round the corner from each other, this one is CENTER! Would recommend. "
"Within walking distance to Checkpoint Charlie. Room was clean but we would prefer no carpeting....this aspect dated it some. Staff was great. Bar was nice too. Property has a gorgeous courtyard that you can walk and sit in. Great stay!"
"Highly recommended , we only stayed one night here , wish we could stay longer , room is very clean modern , when there was an issue with our room the staff tried their best to assist . Price is very good for the service they provided . Very quiet . "
"Enjoyed Cocoon a lot. The appartment with small terrace, the bakery downstairs, roofterrace and bar. 10 minute walk to U Bahn station.
Next time in Munich most probably Cocoon again."
