My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. "We stayed here back in 2020 and had a lovely experience so we were excited to return. The resort still has a lot of char, peaceful surroundings, a calming atmosphere and a great location for relaxation. However after five years it feels like not much has changed and not in a good way. The property is starting to show signs of wear and could really use some upgrades and better attention to detail. Breakfast was underwhelming this time around. The quality and freshness of the items weren’t up to standard. Coffee was terrible too. More disappointing were the cleanliness issues. We found a few hairs in the shower and bathroom which shouldn't happen in any hotel let alone a resort of this level."
