The Gower Hotel

"We had an excellent stay. We stayed in the St Teilo room, which had a lovely, private, decked area outside the room, which made for a very cosy star-gazing evening. We twice ate at the hotel: for breakfast and the evening meal. The food was delicious and high quality. I had the pork wellington and fillet steak. Portion sizes are quite substantial. I had a small mountain of chips with my steak. A very cosy experience in a really quiet village. Didn’t hear a sound at night. Would definitely stay again."

"Had a great experience. Very laid-back vibe, but the hosts are always on hand if you need anything. Took the time to answer my questions about how to explore the local area. Recommendations were spot on. Perfect spot to explore the coast of the Gower Peninsula; the cliffs are a short drive or bus ride away. Two pubs right next door both do lovely food."

"We highly recommend the Annexe because we've just had the most wonderful time there.The bungalow is clean, well equipped and big enough to feel at home. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck very much. It is isolated from the street and within easy reach of Caswell Beach on foot and of the South Gower Road.Excellent location! We could easily travel everywhere in Gower. There are beautiful walks in the area if you like walking! And stunning beaches.All in all, we only missed a shelf above the sink to put our products on."

"Whole house was spotlessly clean, a very well equipped kitchen ( you don’t get that very often!) showers were hot and powerful. The bedrooms were large with plenty of space for bags etc, the beds and bedding are very good quality. Sitting area, lovely big sofas to chill on. Dining area very light and plenty of room for six people. Outside, the patio area is great for eating, chatting, socialising and is quite a sun trap.We had two cars, which we parked and got in and out of the drive fairly easily.The two dogs ( Jack Russell & Kelpie cross) absolutely loved the garden, plenty of space to run around and investigate. Our host, Joseph - his attention to detail was much appreciated and the couple of minor questions we had he answered almost instantly. There is a shop (Co-op) not far away, pubs, the house is in a great location for the beach and a selection of cafes, restaurants and shops. We had a n absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch at the Plough & Harrow, Murton, recommend booking to ensure a table. All in all the four of us and dogs had a really good short break, which we would highly recommend.Thank you Joseph."

"Lovely cottage in the most beautiful spot. The property was very comfortable with everything you need and impeccably clean. The welcome package was so nice too. Jon the host was very supportive and informative too. I can highly recommend. "
