"The bedroom and bathroom were lovely & spacious with loads of storage. The food was excellent, service was a bit slow at dinner but well worth the wait, best proper chips we've ever had in a hotel. Limited parking but we used free car park opposite at the Village hall. Large garden at rear with plenty of seating and parasol, slabs were a bit uneven in places."

"This 5 star review is certainly well deserved for this cozy little cottage. The moment we stepped in it exceeded our expectations. It’s in a most beautiful setting, no traffic noise, has a lovely secure garden for the dog, it’s clean, comfortable, and with hosts that made us feel really welcome.In our view, it’s even better than the photos and somewhere we’re already considering returning to.Thank you so much for the most relaxing few days and for accommodating us on a last minute holiday!"

Beautifully Renovated Farmhouse With Stunning Views

"Such a beautiful and picturesque location has to be witnessed. There are spectacular views and walks from the site. The property is a converted farm dwelling, which has been done very well with lots of quality rooms and amenities. The garden has a large outdoor table and benches adjacent to the BBQ and hot tub, so an ideal social hub. However, there is no shade and as we were there in 35c plus weather, we did miss some shade. Also, the underfloor heating wouldn't turn off, which made using the dining room a challenge in the heat. The owners did come out and sort this once they knew about it. The games room has some cooling, which was very welcome. We had a wonderful family holiday and would definitely recommend it as a peaceful and comfortable place to stay."

"Booked for a 60th birthday weekend, great communication from the team, beautiful house set in great location! House was supplied with an array of supplies including tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc. bedrooms where light & airy, all en-suite, comfortable beds, and luxury finishing. There were 2 BBQ’s, hot tub and pool table, along with large TV in sitting room and stereo! A great weekend at a beautiful home!"

"Fantastic stay over new years. The property is perfect for 2 families with a wonderfully spaced kitchen. The log fire was a great way to congregate everyone in the lounge for games and festivities. Rosie and Sue were fabulous hosts and always available or to answer questions or help with any issues we had. We also managed to get to the Quantocks for a sunset view and visited Kilve Besch for fossil hunting. Both no more than 15 mins drive away. Nether Stowey is a lovely village to wander round with 2 pubs to enjoy a few drinks. Only 15 mins walk away but beware the hill back is long and steep. Will definitely be back!"
