"This place was exceptional. Loved the management and staff. They were super friendly and accommodating. "

"Let me start by saying my fiancé and I are in the hospitality business and we were extremely impressed by attentive and welcoming staff, the grounds, the location, the hotel, the pool the food and the service. We needed a place to really relax and unplug from the stress of everyday life. Marcela was paradise for us! Betty greeted us upon arrival and checked us in with ease. Shortly after we got to our room someone brought us a complimentary appetizer and a fruity drink which was really...

"We loved the Marcela Resort. It was a 2-bedroom / 2-bath unit, and very large - at least by US standards. From the wrap-around deck, it had an amazing view of the pool, down the mountain, and out to the ocean. It had a full kitchen, separate jacuzzi, and in-unit laundry. The price was still very reasonable. The whole property was well-kept and nicely decorated. It's also very picturesque - the building itself is really interesting, and the gardens all over the grounds are full of pathways with...

"Everything was great since the minute i checked in to when i checked out, i will definitely be back and i will for sure recommend this jewel."

"The customer service was fantastic. The grounds and the views were beautiful. I would recommend this resort to others. We were in PV because our dad was in the ICU at Medassist. This was the perfect location and mental health break we needed. Thank you."

"Great staff, so nice and relaxing!"

"The 5th floor of the Marcela was exactly as pictured. The suits were clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We at breakfast in the hotel and had room service one evening and enjoyed the food and the wait staff. We spent afternoons at the pool. The only issue we had was the staff wasn’t interested in offering us drinks. We found it easier to bring our own down then try to get them from the bar. In all it was a hotel we will visit again!"

"The house provided everything we needed. Though for us a couple missing items in the kitchen. Unfortunately the area around is not very inviting for families and requires additional travel to local attractions. It was great value for a short stay. The green field park area outside wouldve been great if it werent for the garage and dog poop everywhere. "
