"One of the best hotels in Algarve! A 600 year old convent converted hotel, yet it has all amenities and convenience a modern hotel has to offer. Good variety of breakfast. Room is spacious, bright and airy. Staff are friendly and helpful! A short walk to the Main Street where visitors can find Pharmacies, restaurants and boutiques. The hotel is at foot of the Castle of Tavira, public parking is limited, but the hotel has its own gated parking area, which is a huge plus for us."

"Fabulous old palace containing the bar, restaurant and lounge areas, whilst the rooms are in a modern new wing decorated with interesting modern art.
