"Residencial Mares' character could not be beat. We loved experiencing its original bones with some updated insides - showers had great water pressure, everything was in excellent condition, clean as a whistle despite age of original features and comfortable. Front desk host, Senhor Paulo, was lovely, welcoming and easy to talk to. The location was perfect as it is walkable to all things in town and right in front is the ferry to Tavira island. Parking for our rental vehicle was also free just down the street in a lot. Would absolutely return! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"My wife and I stayed for a few days with the all inclusive package. It was perfect for us - good selection of food and we were never left hungry. The a la carte restaurant was excellent and the staff were attentive throughout the resort."

"Great property that was well cared for and close to everything. Staff was wonderful. This was just a studio so nothing for long long term but had all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The bed was really hard but we asked Staff for a mattress pad and they had one on the next morning. We were so grateful. Enjoyed our stay here and would come back."
