"The hotel was family friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. We found free street parking. Tavira is extremely walkable and we were super close to the ferry to Tavira Island. The only thing I didn't care fore was the smell of cigarettes in the common areas."

"Hotel Don Rodrigues is a great hotel just outside Tavira. It’s a 15 min walk into town but you do need to cross and walk alongside a busy road. Bolt taxis into town were about €3.50. Rooms were modern and nicely decorated and the whole place was very clean. It was great having a pool and the breakfast was really good. All the staff were great and I would certainly stay again."

"A lovely apartment in a convenient location even within the complex as it is right opposite the swimming pool so super for quick access. The apartment is beautiful and homely. It doesn’t want for anything including a parasol to take to the beach. It is immaculately clean as is the complex. The check-in was easy and the use of a secure car park is a plus. I can highly recommend and hopefully will visit again one day. People staying on the complex were very friendly and I made some new friends whilst there. "

The restaurant for breakfast and dinner were brilliant. The location is perfect for walking Tavira. The room had a strange layout with some wasted space, but I imagine it made sense in the old days when that building was built. Maybe the kept their goat in that space!?
Our room was on the third floor in the elevator only went up to two!!!

"Beautiful apartment in the heart of Tavira. Apartment is even nicer than the photos in a stunning location just a few minutes walk to the riverfront and restaurants. Easy to catch the ferry over to the island. Jose was a perfect host and Olga was fantastic to meet and greet us on arrival. Can’t fault anything about the apartment , great value and just perfect in every way! The shared pool was also nice to cool off at the end of the day and there are loungers at the apartment you can take down if you wish to. Thank you Jose for a brilliant stay. "

"We were in town and my daughter was able to visit us. However, our lodging was not able to accommodate her. We booked 2 nights here for here and it seemed great. I popped over and noticed she had a great balcony, with chairs, a large bed, and huge shower. On top of that the common areas, particularly the outside courtyard were really nice."
