"My mom and I stayed here for one night during our trip along the coast. The outside appears as a typical motel, but inside, the rooms are hotel quality! Would highly recommended staying here. Very modern, clean, and safe. Balconies on each room look out into a private courtyard which would be great for kids. Across from the beach, about a 10 min walk down, so if your room is closer to the front , you can hear the waves at night. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, all in working order. Thanks for a great stay! "

"Comfortable stay. Bed and amenities were nice. My room had a fireplace. Close to Hearst castle. Would stay here again, except wouldn’t eat in the restaurant. Wanting to have the Hearst beef, I ordered a medium rare Hearst burger. It was well done. Sent it back but it came out well done again. Maybe order something they can’t overcook "

"Fell in love with the property!!! Our room had a great view and felt like a cozy cabin. The location is dog friendly as well so we loved being able to bring our dog to the restaurant for our meals. We also enjoyed the live music and various seats the light the property to enjoy the ocean view. Will definitely stay here again!"
