"What a lovely little hotel. So glad we booked here. The rooms were so nice and all the staff were so lovely..Highly recommend and it's opposite the beach."

"We stayed for 4 nights and the staff were so friendly! The bedroom and ensuite were clean and the linen fresh. The only slightly negative point was that it got very warm in the room as it isn't air-conditioned. There weren't any windows to open, just a juliet balcony door which we had to leave propped open at night. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay and the convenience of the location."

"The hotel was clean and we arrived at lunchtime thinking our room would not be ready until it 4 and it was ready. Only criticism is my daughter was looking forward to the train and it wasn’t running. Dinner was also a disaster. We booked for 6:45 and asked could we have the kids food as soon as it was ready so it could cool down. (3 year old and a one year old) 45 minutes later mine and my husbands mains came but the kids food didn’t come for another 15 minutes. So difficult to keep kids distracted for that long and as a family hotel this should have been better. (Kids biggest and chips and bowl of mash with gravy doesn’t take an hour) Would recommend the hotel but definitely not the dinner situation."

"This is a must stay as long as you can drive Irish roads! The place is awesome and conveniently located to restaurants and entertainment. Recommend Lynhams of Laragh for breakfast or lunch or live music. We stocked up on adult beverages and snacks at Centra in town. The bed was very good. We stayed three nights and had very good sleep. It was great to have a fridge and washer/dryer. Stella is the beautiful dog greeter and Kate is her momma and owner. They were both very welcoming. Kate was very available to help both in person or text. Highly recommend this get a way."

"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."

"This lovely hotel, with older charm and character, is perfectly located to walking and hiking trails, and a 2 minute stroll to the monastic ruins. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The tub/shower was a bit of a high step, but grab bar was perfect help. Breakfast in the morning was buffet-style with good variety. I wish we had time to stay longer than just overnight."
