"Overall this was an excellent stay for us. Great jumping off point to explore the Alentejo region. Is as listed, very homey and comfortable. The only issue we had was check in. Once this was resolved, Paola was wonderful."

"What a gem of a place to stay in. This is an old convent that has a church attached to it (a full church, no just a small chapel). You can visit the church across from the cloister and across from the dining room which is unreal. There are other beautiful rooms in the older part of the convent that lead to a breakfast area which has arched ceilings. Breakfast is great and can be eaten inside or outside. At night there were a guitar and oboe player who played in the cloister and created a magical atmosphere. There is an outside infinity pool within some really well kept and very nice gardens. There is an inside pool with a wet and dry sauna. Two restaurants within the premises. There is a small but well equipped gym. The room we stayed in had a terrace that overlooked the garden, great to sit at night when the July heat subsided. When we arrived and saw some of the things within this convent/resort, we decided to switch our flights in order to stay one more night. Great decision. Évora is 5 minutes away by car and so easy to reach. I am not doing justice to what a wonderful place this is to stay"

"The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The places they recommended for dinner, both nights, were spot on.
We were needing to do laundry, but their washing machine was broken. The dryer was working so we hand washed all of our clothes from the past week in our bathroom, then the staff dried them for us for a nominal fee (8€ I believe). When we got back to our room, they were dry, folded, and sitting in baskets in our room.
We would definitely stay here again."
"Garden terrace room was great! Private entrance and private patio. Large room and large bathroom and was very clean. Great water pressure! Private parking. Staff was helpful in mapping out the sights and a lovely breakfast was provided."
