"Love the location. Our cabin was large enough for four adults. The cabin had most supplies we needed for BBQing and cooking. Clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. We stayed in cabin 8. Two bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. "

"Check in was easy. The house was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. I could find everything easily. We ate breakfast and dinner in and made lunch to take on the go. Beds were comfortable and this set up worked well for our family of 5. It was nice to have laundry part way through our trip of the Pacific Northwest. The location was great for visiting the Redwoods. It was close to hiking trails and other things we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this place to stay. "

"We loved staying at the contemporary farmhouse. The house was well maintained and comfortable, prefect for the two of us and our two kids. Carole gave us great advice about where to visit and hike in the Redwoods State and National Park. We loved that we could do hikes directly from the farmhouse. Carole was also quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others."

"We had a great experience staying at the Coastal Farmhouse. It’s so close to Prairie Creek Redwoods! We spent our first 3 days hiking various trails and basking in the beauty of the Redwoods. It’s truly breathtaking. We took the bikes to the ocean which the “kids” labeled the bone yard because of the incredible amount of washed up trees and branches there. You do need to walk over those to get to the beach/ocean. Again just amazing. Plenty of activities and games provided to play in the evenings. We bought some fire wood in town and cooked over the fire one night. Coffee on the porch every morning to watch the fog roll out and the cows graze. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. No dishwasher so we did have a lot of dish washing with 6 people eating most meals at the house. Great little Pizza truck just down the drive! Murphy’s in Trinidad was our go to grocery stop-great local store! We also really enjoyed the zoo with the elevated walkway. The staff there were so helpful and knowledgeable. We also drove up to Jedediah Smith Redwoods to hike and swim in the Smith River. Great trip with lots of memorable experiences at a great location that’s very secluded feeling. "

"Really enjoyed staying in this former chapel, the former St Thomas church AFAIK. Neat and tidy, well appointed and provisioned. We chose to sleep on the murphy bed. Great place to stay if you're visiting Redwoods State and National Parks. We saw a herd of Elk at the Orick elementary school yard during calving season - it was magical."
