Welcome to 215A Philadelphia Ave! **2025 Updates—new queen mattresses and box springs and interior painting **
OVERVIEW: Great South Rehoboth Location! Beautifully renovated four-bedroom and two-bathroom duplex with updated kitchen and bathrooms, fresh paint, new flooring, and tasteful decor. Two small pets are welcome (with a pet fee).
The four bedrooms are located on three floors. The main-level bedroom has a twin bed, an en suite bathroom, and a door to the backyard. Two bedrooms are located on the second level, with queen beds and a shared bathroom in each room. The third-floor bedroom, accessed through one of the second-floor rooms, has three twin beds and a flat-screen TV with cable.
The house includes central AC (a supplemental window unit is provided on the third floor), free Wi-Fi, expanded cable TV in the living room and on the third floor, a fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, a screened front porch (semi-private with the other side of the duplex), an outside shower, one onsite private parking spot for a small to midsize vehicle, and one on-street parking permit.
Assorted games, cards, books, movies, a beach cart, and beach chairs are provided for your enjoyment. The house is clean, open, airy, and well-maintained, with lots of room for family and friends. The screened front porch is an excellent area for relaxing after a long day at the beach, having morning coffee, or having an evening cocktail. Every detail has been considered for your stay!
LOCATION: This duplex is just 2.5 blocks from the beach and boardwalk and one block from Rehoboth Avenue shopping and restaurants. It is ideally located for parking your car and walking everywhere!
PARKING: Onsite parking for one car. There is a size restriction- no large SUVs.
AMENITIES: Expanded Wi-Fi, CATV, lovely screened-in porch, beach equipment, and an electronic keypad system for easy check-in and check-out.
THINGS TO KNOW: The 199.99 processing fee is not refundable. Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a linen rental option to guests. A pet fee is required for each dog (a two-dog limit with a weight restriction). You must go through the second-level queen bedroom to access the third-level bedroom. Great Location

My husband, 2 young adult kids, and dog enjoyed our stay. We were there for a week, right before the official season started, so there was no one in the unit next to us in this duplex. It was a cute little place for us and we loved the location - we basically walked everywhere! We easily walked to beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your home!

Nice house! Walking distance to everything!

Very nice property! No linen provided. I had a tough time getting linen ordered through Remax-3 calls with no call backs but I got it on the 4th call! There was no soap or toliet paper but luckily there is a general store close by. Lots of checkout guidelines. Overall, clean locations with cute decor and stocked kitchen.

Family Time

My husband and I (from SC) rented this charming duplex to spend time with family (1 from MD and 2 from PA). It was great. The rental was clean and included all we needed. Check in and out was simple. We cooked breakfast most mornings and didn’t lack for any kitchen items. There were extra blankets (which I appreciated) and enough towels for everyone. The neighborhood was quite and the walk to the beach was easy. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this again.

Great Location

The location of the house was perfect, as we were able to walk to many restaurants along the Boardwalk by the beach. However, the house itself was not in optimal condition. Some of the walls had peeling paint, and it didn't feel completely clean. I also believe the house isn't designed for eight people; fortunately, there were only six of us and a dog, so we managed to fit. The dining table was quite tight. Additionally, the rooms were very small, which makes me think the house is better suited for six rather than eight guests. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you!

Decent place and good location

The house was clean and had everything we needed. I would suggest the sofas be changed. They are stained and have seen better days. One thing to note is that to get to the third bedroom on the top floor you must go through one of the bedrooms. Not much privacy. Everything else was fine.

Residential Rental at Rehoboth Beach

Comfortable 4 bedroom residential Rental at Rehoboth Beach. 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and even closer to the boardwalk. The boxsprings on all the beds need to be replaced to be honest, but the beds were comfortable. The beach chairs provided sit on the sand, so recommend bringing your own chairs. Linen rental was very easy to pick up and drop off. You are given 1 spot in the driveway area to park and 1 parking pass for another car. If you have any other cars, you MUST get a parking pass located at 1 City Hall Ave. $25/day $120 for a week. Cannot park without a parking pass.

Served the main purpose - place to stay near the beach for 3 generations + dog. Property manager was easily reached by phone. Cleaning could have been more thorough (e.g. felt sand on the mattress cover, Dustbuster bin was full, oven mitts needed a wash). Some damage, (most signif was sagged/cracked ceiling in top floor) which I reported and have not been held responsible for (yet, to my knowledge). Kitchen was well equipped.

Great location

This is a great location. Accommodations are nice. The only thing that would help is a little more generosity in the supplies. There could be a little dish soap. Or maybe a sponge or two. Remax was great at communicating. The other thing is, I thought this was Vacation Rentals By OWNER, which it’s not anymore. There are too many extra fees. Won’t be using VRBO anymore.

Pet friendly house with all the basics, in a great location.

My family has stayed in this unit or the other half of the duplex for 4 years, so clearly we like the place, especially the great location near both the ocean and Rehoboth Ave. It has some nice features other rentals don't (screen porch so the doggies can catch the morning sun, decent tableware + cookware, nice big table for everyone to eat at, or crafts/puzzles worked on). It has some not-fixable downsides that our family is ok with (*really* steep stairs, 3rd floor access only via 2nd floor BR). But it needs some maintenance: the coffee pot water reserve had black mold (we bought a new one), the recliner in the LR is worn out, you'll get a back-ache sitting there, and the washer part of the combo-W/D was not working. Use the one in the garage, the owner says. But the same thing happened to us last year (other duplex half), and this year, we discovered that the garage W/D was already in use, so I suspect there are multiple W/D failures in this 4-unit property. I still like the place, but it needs a bit more upkeep.

The house was way smaller than expected, but the location was perfect, just as advertised. The house has few kitchen supplies. And the linen rental raises the final price. But all in all it was worth the price.

Great location close to the beach and Rehoboth Ave

While I wouldn't call this luxe accommodations, the proximity to the beach and dining/shopping was a solid trade off. We loved the screened in front porch, and enjoyed saying hello to passing neighbors and dog walkers. There were only four adults in our party, and we had plenty of room to spread out when someone had a Zoom meeting or needed a quiet room to work. Read the listing carefully: this rental isn't the whole house (as it said on vrbo), pets are welcome (including yappy dogs), and occupants must pass through a bedroom to get to the uppermost floor bedroom. The peeling paint and dishwasher that didn't clean dishes was a bit surprising, but otherwise the unit was fine. We were all about the location. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood, so if you're a late sleeper, you may want to consider something a little farther out where owners aren't tearing down cottages and rebuilding with massive beach rentals.

Home in need of repairs, paint, and cleaning. Was.not found clean upon arrival.

Overall location was great. Attic room had portable air conditioner which wasnt optimal. Single bed on first floor wasnt ideal, bed creaks. Overall every room was dirty from trim to doors to walls and floors in bathrooms, one bedroom wall paint was chipped clear away. Sinks were not clean and floor was unswept. Clearly thisnunit was the worst one weve ever stayed in in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen was fair and could use new pots and pans and more amenities. The beach chairs are old and porch is not comfortable. Lacks chairs, cleanliness, charm. Neighbors were nice and location was ideal.in a nice section of town. Remax reimbursed us for thencleaning fee we were charged which was appreciated.

This was a great location for our trip and the house had everything we needed! It was a tight squeeze for 3 couples, an infant, and a toddler, but we were able to manage no problem. I would recommend this as an affordable option for a Rehoboth stay.
