"This is a brand new hotel. Besides the 2 pools, it has direct access to the beach. The facilities are new but the design in the room doesn't seem very practical. There is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom. The light and temperature control switches are built into the wall and hard to find and use. Besides that, this is one of the better option if you are staying in Rethymno. "

"Our stay at the villa was very enjoyable & relaxing. The host family was extremely welcoming, attentive & generous - we enjoyed some lovely homemade meals. The villa was well- serviced. We enjoyed the large comfortable bed & found the villa, in general, well-appointed & comfortable - good air-conditionimg & appliances were much appreciated. "Adonis was a gracious host, and we especially enjoyed talkig with Nikki, who was part of the staff. Our apartment was spacious, and had a nice balcony with a nice city view that also looked out on the Fortezza. Adonis oriented us to the neighborhood with suggestions and a map. We had kitchen facilities that were very convenient and our bed and air conditioning made our sleep very comfortable. We were even able to easily extend our stay on short notice. We definitely recommend Palazzo Vecchio!"
