"We visited in the summer, so it was light out all night. The shades worked well. Our room was very nice. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had more time to stay. The hotel is much closer to the airport than it is to Reykjavik. This was not a problem since we had free parking for our rental car."

"We stay here one night before our flight early morning the next day after disembarked from our cruise. The hotel is clean and located quite close to the KEF airport and this make it a good choice for people who has an early morning flight. The room is clean and spacious, but we feel that more should be done to the space to make it more functioning for their customers. The hotel location is very quite, but far away from the town/city. The hotel is actually a repurposed of an old US military base building. There are no shop nearby other than 2 car rentals companies and a restaurant in the building next to the hotel. The hotel only has one restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner (no lunch). There is a bar right next to the front desk. There is no more free shuttle service to the airport. It is a paid service now and only run from 4am to 8am. The price is still much cheaper compared to taxi. Reservation required for the shuttle service. Overall, it is a nice and comfortable stay."
