"I found this hotel to be a good place to stay when in Mainz, Germany. It is conveniently located near a local train station and walking distance from the old town (Alstadt) and Rhine river front. My hotel room was spacious (the bathroom was pretty small though) but I guess for a single occupancy, it's okay. in front of the patio that nobody would expect in this region. unfortunately, the many smokers cause an odor even in the rooms and the old carpet doesn’t help. My room was located next the linen room. Rattling carts and a banging door wike me up at 6 am. "
