Room smelled strongly of a strange chemical floral smell. Had to keep the window open to try and air it out. No food available nearby. There is a mall within a short walk that offers a Greg’s and a McDonald’s. The hotel is not 4 stars. It is a bit rundown. The staff are nice and try to be helpful.

Loved the location of this hotel. The staff were great and delicious breakfast to start your day. We went for dinner here one of the nights and the cocktails were amazing!

Over the years I have stayed at this hotel numerous times visiting friends and relatives. It is always clean, the staff are always helpful. It feels like a posh hotel even though it’s a similar price to other hotels in the area. I am visiting people who live in Kirkcaldy so dont tend to use the entertainment or restaurant facilities but the bar and meeting rooms are always clean and pleasant environments to be in. There is often an event on such as a wedding at the weekend but the bedroom s don’t seem to be above the events and you don’t get disturbed by noise. As a solo female traveler it always feels safe and staff are careful not to release details of room numbers to other guests . The beds are comfy , the rooms are a good size including the single ones . The towels are nice and fluffy and you get hot chocolate in the rooms as well as tea and cofre and biscuits which is always a win for me . There is also onsite parking . I would recommend and would stay here again
