"Perfect place for us!!! We could walk right down to beautiful carlsmith beach for swimming and snorkeling, short drive to Richardson bay for black sand beach , swimming & snorkeling. Everything is close by, great museums in Hilo. Beautiful place to stay with everything we needed, even chairs to take to the beach. The floors are beautiful. Great communication with the host. We would have loved to stay longer. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this home in Hilo. Staying in Hilo saved us a lot of drive time when exploring Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea, and all the beautiful waterfalls in the area. Just walk across the street to enjoy the some amazing beaches. The house was beautifully updated; every bathroom was amazing. The layout worked great, giving our adult children some privacy. Our family enjoyed sitting around the large dining table on the patio in the evenings and spending an afternoon watching the locals "cruise" the street in front of the house. The street noise mostly ended at night, but sleeping with a sound machine canceled out any lingering noise. It was also fun to watch the ponds rise and fall with the tide. I would definitely recommend this rental."

"Beautiful home and location. Beach across the street is rocky but gorgeous. We saw several large turtles grazing on the shore. Beach/park is public and can sometimes have locals with loud entertainment, etc. Still a wonderful stay!"
