"Right in the city center, so it was the perfect location for a short stay. The breakfast was pretty basic. As for our room, the bed was comfy but the pillows were foldable so heads up on that for those who cant sleep on flat pillows. When getting our rooms cleaned we noticed the cleaners never really vacumed the floors and didnt top up on the toiletries when we ran out of some that we had to call the receptionist who kindly came over to hand these over to us. Overall the staff were warm and friendly and very helpful with all queries that we had. I would highly recommended this hotel if your someome who's visiting Köln for the first time."

"Dear Hyatt Regency Köln Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding an experience I encountered during my recent stay at your property in Cologne, Germany. Despite the restaurants on-site appearing to have available capacity on the evening in question, I was unfortunately unable to secure a dining reservation at either of the two hotel restaurants. As a result, I was compelled to leave the hotel premises and travel into the city centre in order to dine — an inconvenience that I had not anticipated, nor considered necessary given the facilities advertised as part of the guest experience. This situation had a significant impact on the overall enjoyment of my stay. As my evening was spent travelling to and from the city centre for dinner, I was subsequently unable to make use of the hotel's leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and spa areas, which I had very much looked forward to. I trust that this matter will be taken seriously and reviewed accordingly. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further and to understand what measures might be put in place to prevent similar inconveniences for future guests. "Overall, the hotel was good and I had a pleasant stay. I did not receive any VIP benefits such as a room upgrade or similar perks. As an Expedia Gold Member, I was expecting at least one VIP offer from the hotel, but no benefits were provided at all. The only thing I received was early check-in Additionally, the hotel did not provide slippers in the room. For a hotel of this quality, I consider this a significant downside, as even basic amenities like slippers are expected."
