"The property is nicely located but in need of updates. A lot of the lamps are plug in vs light switch and there were some flickering lights behind the TV. One lamp was missing a light bulb. No outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer. The second bathroom is missing a door handle making it hard to open and close. We were unable to reach the ceiling fan chain without having to get on the bed, The Air Conditioner wasn't working on he first floor which made it a bit stuff but with open windows at...

"A worthy consideration for any stay in Rockport. We were impressed by the cleanliness of our room which was outstanding. Parking is right in front of the building in a town where parking can be difficult to find at times. The room was tastefully decorated and provided a front row seat to the ocean. As others have mentioned, listening to the waves hit the shoreline was relaxing; like having your own live sound machine. We stayed in room 5 which had two double beds. We only used one which we found to be soft, but comfortable enough. The bed linens, bath towels, shower curtain and in room amenities (fridge, luggage rack, Keurig, extra pillows & blankets) were all top notch. There was a small cafe table and chairs for in room use as well as a TV and air conditioner which we didn’t use. The area is a fun, coastal destination filled with quintessential New England views, architecture, touristy shops, restaurants and eateries. We did not interact with any staff; however, communication from the owners regarding our stay was timely, detailed and provided for an easy check in and check out. I highly recommend if you’re seeking a clean and convenient accommodation in Rockport. Note that it is not a pet friendly site or accessible per ADA standards as noted in their information."
"My stay at Addison Choate was nothing short of magnificent. I was in town for a work training be held at Endicott College- while that's a 1/2 away- every night returning to Addison Choate I felt like I was going home.
Marshall and Courtney took such great care of me, their property, and everyone I encountered there. I mean, they left more candies of the ones I had eaten all of in the remaining days after discovering my preference. They went out of their way to make my stay special but recommending local restaurants, making sure my cable got the US Open on it, and even picking something for me that would have been closed once I returned from work.

"The loft is historic and beautifully done. Very comfortable, and the location is central to everything in Rockport. I walked 15 minutes from the commuter rail station and didn't have a car, and had no problems. Lots of convenient amenities like toiletries and coffee provided. Love the skylight windows that provide both light and a nice breeze "

"Step away from the busy little town of Rockport and its gorgeous artisan stores, to your very own private Oceanside roof deck above the shops, next to the Shalin Liu performance center. Gorgeous kitchen, WiFi and two smart TV’s met our needs perfectly. Also loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Very responsive host. Only one reserved parking spot but we managed to park our second's car on street near to the reserved spot. If not, use the park and ride as the rest of the on street parking is metered, monitored and competitive. Bring ear plugs if the church clock chiming on the hour at night will bother you, the ocean breeze can also cause the cook top hood vent to knick-nack. Brothers Brew Coffee Shop Is perfect for breakfast or lunch just three stores down. Also highly recommend a trip to the lovely country house overlooking the beach: Castle Hill on the Crane Estate"
