This was the most horrible experience i ever had . For everyone how are interested in booking this hotel , please read my review first before confirm your booking to this hotel… i have booked this hotel and paid in advance via a credit card a month before my travel. After I arrived there, I was shocked that all the rooms were sold out and there was no room for me. At first they took the tax amount from me and then they told me that there were no rooms. Then they sent me to a another hotel, and I stayed there for three days. It was Hotel disgusting hotel , the electricity was’nt working and there was no place to charge the phone. The bathroom is constantly leaking water , and the noises are very annoying. The hotel’s elevator was very old and you could not use it, so I had to use the stairs more than once. It was a bad experience and I do not advise anyone to book the hotel because they will take your money and then tell you there are no rooms when you arrive and sending you to another hotel.

The hotel was very clean. We were able to communicate with the hotel through Expedia. We arrived late, but check in was easy. It was conveniently located, we didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Centrally located. High ceilings and large rooms. Recently renovated. View of courtyard. Very close to shopping and dining choices. D’Angelo is our daily breakfast spot nearby! Very popular for expresso , pastries and vegan cookies & vegetarian dishes. All major attractions easily walkable. Front desk gentleman is a very happy Italian who loves his job.

We didn’t like this hotel. In fact, it didn’t even look like a hotel, so it was hard to find. It consisted of about a dozen rooms on the bottom floor of a large building. There was no lobby, just a small room with desk, computer, and a man who seemed to be there for only a few hours a day. Our room was very small, the bed was hard as a rock, and there was no window in the room, so we had no outside light. The bathroom was a good size, but the shower was half glass and half curtain that didn’t fit well, so the floor was wet after each shower. On a positive note, our room was very clean.

Noisy, no window, only a louvers, very hard bed, big lumps for pillows, staff does not speak English, have to go several doors, and up steps just to register, a tiny sign for the hotel, if I would even call that

We had the most amazing time at Elide Garden! The owner went above and beyond, letting us check in during the morning instead of waiting until the afternoon. This made our stay incredibly delightful, leaving us well-rested and ready to conquer the city in the evening. I can't express enough how fantastic this place is – situated perfectly between the train station and all the major attractions. It's hands down one of the wonderful places to stay in Rome!

The property was closed to Roma Termini, the central station. Rino the staff was very friendly despite some language barrier, he really tried his best to communicate. The room was clean and newly renovated, we stayed at the ground level next to the reception.

Ideal location/price
For the price we paid it was in a great location within walking distance to all land marks! Great little places to eat and super markets on and around the surrounding streets! The hotel its self is basic but very clean and always had our room cleaned daily, staff was very helpful and accommodating would highly recommend

Good location
Good location for the price. Wifi spotty but I think that’s in a lot of places in Italy. The hotel is on a quiet street. There are 3 doors to unlock/lock if coming and going after hours, which can be tricky. Did not feel that safe not having anyone at the hotel after hours.Nothing fancy but very clean.

We liked the location a lot, it was pretty easy to get everywhere from there and it was easy to stay. It was nicely done up and we enjoyed the air-conditioning! Staffed hours were very limited. The shower didn’t drain very well, the house keeping service wasn’t very good, they did our room nicely the first day but the second day they didn’t give us new cups or towels or make the bed so that was a bit odd. They kindly held our bags for us the day we checked out for us to then pick back up, so that was nice. The key to the room felt a bit dodgy though, it was an old key style and it seemed like it could unlock any room - we know this because when we were being shown to our room he unlocked the wrong one. So that felt a wee bit unsafe, especially with the limited staff hours. Overall we were pretty happy with our stay here and the bang for buck!

A really great location in Rome
The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and they cleaned it every day. The bathroom is large and also very clean. But the best thing about is the location, it's close to Central station (Termini), with bus stop to take you down town (40, 67) and metro around the corner. It's a 15 min walk to the Trevi Fountain so it's close on foot as well. The neighborhood is quiet, and the staff very friendly.

Worth the money
Perfect room if you are looking for something simple and not expensive or luxurious. Owner is very friendly and laid back. Walking range of the historical buildings therefore no taxi needed or looking at subway times. Overall very pleased.

Get what you pay for
In the height of summer our room would have been lovely and cool and a real relief from the heat, but we booked for March and it was freezing. There is a heater, but the ceilings are so tall that the room struggled to actually get warm despite keeping the heater on all day. No dressing gown or slippers provided, but a selection of coffee and tea was available. The fridge in the room required unplugging on a night time because it was loud. The heated towel rack didn’t work, but the cleaning staff do replace your towels every day. At first glance everything is relatively clean, just don’t go looking under the bed. The gentleman on the desk was a lovely host, no doubt, tried his best to communicate in a language not his first, and was always polite and friendly. There is a safe in the room but it’s not fixed to anything. No iron, but there is a hair dryer. The rooms are not soundproof, when you are stood in the corridor, it is possible to hear people talking in their rooms. Ultimately it’s a cheap and recently refurbished room located in the very centre of Rome. Can’t go wrong for the price we paid really, other hotels in the same area are 2-3x the price.

Great hotel, very welcoming
We didn’t actually stay at the hotel that I booked, instead the hotel gave our booking to the hotel next door, Hotel Texas, I believe this was because of our requirements for 3 separate beds, this wasn’t a problem at all as I was pre warned a few days earlier by the hotel, thru hotels.com. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms were tidied and cleaned everyday of our stay.

Comfortable stay in walking distance to all
The room was clean, quiet, in the first floor (only floor), back of the building with a window to the garden. Extra towels were provided on request. Reno was helpful and tried to accommodate our requests. A kettle and instant coffee as well as a small fridge in the room. The safe was very small and it was not anchored??? Plenty of hot water but zero pressure. Were told of ongoing system work. We were given keys to the front door and the building main door which were locked in the night. Staff were there from 9 am to 6pm. Area is clean and well lit at night.
