Perfectly fine, but quite dated. No bar and breakfast room was tiny with basic selection. Fine to use as a base, but no where to sit and relax at the end of the day.

The staff here are really lovely people. Always around to talk and answer questions. The area is amazing, so close to everything you want to see. I hate to say anything negative because we had such a nice time, but the bed was too hard for me.

POSITIVES: - Nice staff - Location - Cute / charming deco NEGATIVE - There was no wifi in the bedroom that I stayed (bedroom number 5) - Staff said that this was due to the pandemic, but I think this excuse is totally unreasonable as things are open since May 2021 - Bedroom really needs maintenance (door handle came out, rusty shower, old shower curtain) - all very sloppy - Bed and pillows: the bed was pending to one side. Pillows extremely uncomfortable. I asked to replace one of them and they gave me another one with same bad quality. - Very poor breakfast Overall I think it is unacceptable a place like this for the price I payed. I felt ripped off.

First the location! Amazing!! On the Tiber, 3 min walk to the Nevona sq. The place itself beautiful and with unique style, we loved it. The staff very kind and helpful, and i recommend to talk with Vinzenzo, and ask for recommendation from him. Definitely want to come ther again😊

Very nice and warm hospitality family hotel
We are very satisfy with our stay in Ave Roma Hotel, the owner mr. Vincenzo is very nice and helpful. If we come back to Rome again, will definitely stay in Ave Roma again.

A great stay at Residenza Ave Roma!
We absolutely love this hotel! In fact, we booked this same hotel 3 years prior and our experience then was just as great as this one. The lady that works there is so gracious and welcoming, a true pleasure to converse with and very attentive to our needs. The owner Vincenzo is was great as well... when we didn’t arrive on our scheduled time he became concerned and was emailing me just as I walked in. How thoughtful! Overall, a wonderful experience and felt like we were at home. Great location and minutes away from all the major attractions... walking distance that is!

Feel at home while in Rome.
Vera and Vicenzo made us feel at home each and everyday of our stay. The only thing not wonderful was the pillows, but every thing was great.

Great location and wonderful staff!
The staff was wonderful. Such a nice owner and very helpful about what to visit and everything. The location is amazing. Just a short walk to the Vatican, trevi fountain, and pantheon. It is a cute little room with sweet italian touches. It is clean and what you would get for a decently priced Italian hotel. The breakfast is very small and minimal and is only from 8-10 but it was good enough for me. Coffee is great and coffee machine included.

The hotel is in an excellent location in between the two major attractions Vatican and Colisseum. The front desk staff was wonderful. Breakfast from 8-10 am,, a little too late especially if you plan to go out for a tour. Careful with the window they are very low and are facing the sidewalk on the street, cannot forget to close both curtains. Overall it was a nice stay

The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful. When we checked in the manager gave us a map of Rome & highlighted the locations of many of the sites plus how we should get there. He also asked when we would be departing & made arrangements for a taxi to take us to airport. It is a small Hotel, very friendly atmosphere.

peoples works here are very nice .they have all information ..the places to see .bus number to take .the receptionist walks us to very good italian restaurant even his busy .we might get lost ...the breakfast buffet is nice. they provide umbrella on rainy days

I love this place
Very warm welcome on check in. I was greated by name before even introducing myself. It's a small place, but such a nice personal touch. We had a couple little issues in our room and they were taken care of promptly. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and they are beautifully decorated. It's in the perfect spot to hit all the must see places in Old Rome, and to walk to the Vatican. Very charming place, and I will definitely stay here again, when I return to Rome. I love the neighborhood, and this wonderful home away from home.

Location location location
Fantastic little place in the heart of historical area of Rome. Vincenzo and Vera were very knowledgable and helpful. Room was ideal base to venture around the many ancient sites, cafes and bars. No public transport was needed as it was all within walking distance. Stayed 4 nights and would happily recommend.

We recently stayed here for four nights and would highly recommend it! In a nutshell; The location was perfect and close to all the tourist spots; The staff were very welcoming and helpful and our room was comfortable. A great base to explore the fabulous Roma!

PERFECT LOCATION
I stayed at the Residenza for a week and enjoyed my stay very much. The room was pleasant, clean and served all my needs for the week. Vera was wonderful as was Vincenzo. This is a perfect location across the river from the Castel St. Angelo and the Trastevere and within walking distance of St. Peters, the Piazza Navona, Spanish Stairs, Jewish Ghetto and Campo di Fiore. The only downside was this was not a full service such as a hotel would, but that's reflected in the price. My only problem was Daniele would leave early in the evening so if I needed a taxi to go to dinner, I had to try to find a taxi stand with waiting taxis. Also though one evening he called a taxi for me, it didn't show up and we called again, so I was late to the start of an evening food tasting/walking tour. Luckily I found the group and didn't miss much. I would stay there again. The breakfast is plentiful, though I did miss eggs. Vera's croissants were excellent, as were the cheese and parma ham, as well as the yoghurt. I would stay there again.

Perfect stay.
This hotel was convenient to everything. You really get the feel for Rome staying here. The complementary breakfast was wonderful. All of it was pulled together by Vera. What a wonderful hostess! She gave us great information on sites to see and places to eat. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, friendly and welcoming staff
We really enjoyed our time at Residenza Ave Roma. The price and location of this unpretentious and charming little hotel can not be beaten. If you are traveling on a budget, but still want to have a room with privacy, a small terrace, TV, continental breakfast, and a location in the city center (and also on the River!) this is the hotel for you. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming - you felt more like a guest at their home rather than staying in a hotel. They helped us with anything we needed, from printing tickets to helping us choose a place to eat. We stayed for 6 nights, and should we ever return to Rome, we will be booking our stay here again. Thanks for helping to make our trip to Rome memorable!

Nice central hotel, very close to all attractions.
Very welcoming and helpful owners, will tell you what's going on in Rome that you wouldn't necessarily know about and give good advice in general regarding sightseeing and getting around, etc.. Our room was larger than we expected, had air con, was very quiet and cleaned daily. Central location - we walked everywhere. The continental breakfast was lovely, we especially enjoyed the blood orange juice and the warm fresh croissants. Thank you very much and when we hope to visit Rome again some time, will definitely try to stay here.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly- providing us with a map and reviewing some highlights. They greeted us by name each time we arrived. The room was cozy and warm and safe. I would definitely stay again!

Small B&B/Hotel with 7-8 rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Beside river in front of Castel Angelo. 5-10 min walk from St Peter's Basilica and Piazza Navona. Bus stop <5 min away. Safe neighbourhood. Plenty of places to eat <10 min away. 10-15 min bus ride from Capitoline Museum.

Hospitality at its best
We really enjoyed our stay here, Vincenzo and Vera are the best hosts you could find. My son fell ill while staying here and Vincenzo found me a doctor to come to the hotel and then went to the pharmacy for me to buy the medication. The hotel itself is small, convenient to Piazza Navona and public transport. The breakfast room is tiny but if it's busy you can take a tray to your room. My kids still talk about Ave Roma, Vincenzo and Vera and wanted me to give it a 10/10!

Great Value Great Base
This Hotel Is a great place to base yourself for viewing all over Rome. What you see is what you get, its great value for money. Vera and Vincenzo are fantastic hosts. A little compact maybe but if you want a comfortable place to sleep and spend all day exploring then this is the place. No visit would be complete without taking up the hosts recommendation of a little restaurant nearby called Memmo's , go there its the best.
