  • This elegant apartment is located on the third floor of a building without elevator on Via della Scala, in the picturesque district Trastevere, famous for its many clubs and restaurants which make it the hub of the Roman night life. It is extremely well-lit and quiet, furnished with a modern style characterized by classic and also original architectural elements (such as the beautiful wooden beamed ceiling) and high quality furniture. It is made up of a large living room with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Great location!

This is a third-floor walkup with no lift. For us, that wasn't a factor. This is in the absolute perfect location. It is in a great spot in Trastevere, and we walked to all the city sights such as the Vatican, Roman Forum and Coliseum. It is literally right next to wonderful dining, yet is a quiet, clean apartment. Will stay either in this listing or one in Trastevere when visiting Rome in the future because of the wonderful location. Obviously, mobility issues and desire to walk 1-2 miles to certain areas would make a difference to some, but for us this was exactly what we wanted.

Right in the heart of Trastavere so be prepared for older amenities but still comfortable. VERY unassuming entrance with 3 flights of stairs, no elevator. PLENTY of restaurants around and a quick 5-10 mins walk to public transit. Apartment is very near a common entrance for A LOT of tourists and can get fairly noisy on weekends with a younger crowd. Bathroom has been updated a bit. Communication with host was great when trying to find the place and check-in.
