A surprising yet welcoming atmosphere. This is the most characteristic feature of Urbana 47, of the historic restaurant in Via Urbana, and of the new spaces designed to accommodate travelers arriving in the Eternal City.

The structure is situated in the most fascinating, quiet and typical district of Rome, from which it is possible to discover the city with simplicity, walking without worries, among suggestive squares and timeless streets.

A large and bright room, overlooking the historic and quiet via Urbana. The style of the space is elegant and essential, with a furniture composed of unique pieces, reclaimed furniture and custom designed elements. Among these, a series of cherry wood coat hangers replaces traditional wardrobes.

Great time

I stayed for a week in early November. Excellent location. Loved the room and enjoyed the maid service. All staff were wonderful. Ate a the restaurant a handful of times and I recommend it as well.

Wonderful location in Monti. It is a lively area but I didn't find it overly loud too late. The room was very nicely decorated and clean. I appreciated the cleaning service during the day. The restaurant below was nice as well and the discount didn't hurt. Thank you!

A/C stayed on while not in the unit which made sleeping wonderful. Also get discount at restaurant below. Restaurant was delicious especially when we first arrived absolutely exhausted.

The room was cute and clean, and I loved having access to the peaceful terrace, a quiet escape within the bustle of the city. The neighborhood is excellent, a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum but with not as many tourists as you would expect so close to a tourist hotspot. Angelo and the staff at the Urbana47 restaurant were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Can't recommend enough!!

Nice Urban Rome Stay

We had a great experience here, met with Marco to get us set up with the place, he made it very easy for us. Very convenient being above a well established restaurant and bar. Great walking distance to many attractions. Felt hip and new, in contrast to the history of Rome. Thanks again!

Fantastic and very convenient location in City. Unit itself was dark, uncomfortable bed and bedding (pilling sheets) and lacked amenities (shampoo, fridge (had super micro fridge that only fit 2 small water bottles), no coffee pot, wine glasses

Super cute room and neighborhood

This was an amazing place to stay!! It's such a cute, quaint room. The room is right above the restaurant, I recommend going there too! It's also a great location. The neighborhood is very nice, it's got a lot of restaurants right on the street, and you can walk to some of the historical sites. Ezio was also super helpful. Checking in and out was smooth, he promptly responded to my messages. Be prepared that the fridge in the room is tiny, only a few waters fit in there. Next time I'm in Rome, I'm staying there again! I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Honeymoon Stay

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to begin our honeymoon trip! The location couldn’t have been more picturesque and centrally located without feeling like a tourist trap! A fairly easy walk to the Colosseum and a very short walk to the nearest hop-on-hop-off bus stop. The room itself was beautiful, spacious & modern. We loved the shared courtyard as well! Easy communication and even provided housekeeping which was an added surprise! We didn’t have time as we had a very short stay but the attached restaurant looked delicious and guests even get a discount at the restaurant! Overall, it was an incredible stay and we’d love to come back!

Great host and location

A laid back neighborhood street in Monti with several funky stores and good restaurants, including the wonderful Urbana 47 bistro right below the apartment, both of which are owned by our wonderful host Angelo. This neighborhood is as conveniently located in relation to the places the typical tourist would like to visit in Rome as you might expect. Less touristy than Trastevere, with some of the same advantages. The setup isn't that different from a hotel room, which isn't a disadvantage if you know that ahead of time. There are certain advantages as well, such as the unexpected daily room service!

Property was very conveniently located. Host was very friendly. Lighting in the room is poor even during the day. Bathroom was very small and I felt amenities were very limited. I felt the biggest pet peeve was the noise. I'm a light sleeper so the garbage truck driving every morning was a nuisance, and as we are right outside a strip of restaurants, you can hear people talking at night.

This unit has a wonderful location on a lively pedestrian-friendly street. The restaurant downstairs was great and there were many other restaurants and attractions within walking distance. So close to the Colosseum and Forum! We found the room clean and comfortable, but a bit dark.
