"Room was presentable & very clean. Staff were really lovely although breakfast was fairly slow the food was great. Bar was really nice. Would most def return!"

"Very nice pub accommodation. Our room was comfortable, but at the front, so a tad noisy. The bathroom had a step down so really needed a night light to prevent surprises. We had a nice walk through the field before dinner-careful crossing the busy road where the the speed limit seems to be optional. Shame there was not a path along the river. Good choice on the dinner menu, but our food was “okay”."

"Lovely spa, but housekeeping needs improvement Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the spa facilities. The hotel has a lot going for it and we had a relaxing time. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. The room was not cleaned to the standard I would expect from a hotel and spa of this level, and the rooms themselves are starting to look quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. It is a shame because with better attention to housekeeping and some investment in the bedrooms, this could be an excellent place to stay. We still enjoyed our visit, but the cleanliness really needs addressing."

"Parking available at £10 per night The room and breakfast were fine. Bathroom design is very snug. More staff are needed but the staff there are very helpful and hard-working. I’ve started there are a few times for the different festivals. It’s a perfect location."
