"This property is above their cafe and my room 5 was directly above the ventilation fans - so you hear them loudly throughout your stay (no mention when booking of “bring earplugs”) Despite being mid December, the radiator in my room was not producing heat - perhaps the staff wear outdoor coats when ‘preparing’ the room. The Nest Boutique Hostel

"Very nice place. On the high end for a hostel, but at that price point it's missing some of the basics. The reception should learn how to treat guests in hospitality. He knocked on our door at 10:15 AM advising that checkout was at 10:00 AM and immediately threatened us with a penalty, all with a very unpleasant attitude. There is a proper way to speak to guests. When we challenged his behavior, he replied, “We are just a hostel...” which is quite surprising considering the price point. In the end, I paid the penalty. A perfect example of how to ruin a guest experience. Completely ridiculous."

"At first were disappointed there were no hotels rooms available directly in Galway, but I'm so glad it worked out that way! The hotel is beautiful , staff were friendly, and the view on the beach was amazing. Parking was really easy and we found a restaurant close by called O'Grady's on the Pier which was a 5 min drive from the hotel and had 10/10 food and ambiance. Our room was 7.5/10, there was no AC and it smelled a bit musty. We kept our ground floor patio door open as much as possible which helped. The room was also a bit dusty, sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower didn't have a glass door that closed just a partition which wasn't ideal. The shower did have great pressure and was nice and hot. Overall, I'm really glad we chose this hotel and would come back."
