Hotel looks more rundown in person than it does on the pictures which only shows the rooms. The picture of the rooms are accurate, the corridors and building looks more like a university halls which needs renovation. The service was excellent and location great 5/10 minutes from both the train station and Rotterdam centre. If not expecting the most modern hotel this would work for you

Nice clean room good size for a solo traveller. Nice 24/7 communal lounge area with complimentary tea and good quality coffee. Lifts could do with an upgrade and the air conditioning didn't work but they had provided a standing fan which was a considerate touch. Would stay again.

No AC. Opening the tiny window doesn’t help much as humid air gets in along with mosquitos. Very small room. No breakfast. But front gets nice city view on the top floors. Helpful staff.

So. Hot.
Dank, unbelievably hot, very old hotel thats been renamed, (used to be Days Inn) but not repaired. The AirCon doesn't work and the windows open just enough to let mosquitoes in. Somehow, it's about 10 degrees hotter in the hotel than it is outside. I couldnt sleep and I'd already spent too much to just go somewhere else. After 3 nights, I was sleepless and covered in bug bites. Do yourself a favor a stay literally next door at A&O hostel; same experience, about 90% of the price. Total waste of money. How tf this has good reviews, I have no idea.

Got everything I needed but refridge
I was looking for budget hotel for work trip. And after pandemic all the reviews seemed outdated. I read this hotel has not enough parking area (which I dont need) and excellent breakfast (which I needed!). There are; desk with two chairs enough working space, small but enough wardrobe & restroom, windows to have fresh air, enough distance for a walk to central/metro station, simple but everything breakfast buffet, and so kind reception! Ther are not; refridge, complimentary water or very good safety. I had to change my room (from corner king to king) but both were good enough with that budget. Plus this area is a bit “dark” so not recommended for sole female traveler.

Location is great, very easy to jumó in the tram and move around the city.

Location is close to Rotterdam Central Train Stan so vey convenient. Beds were small and saggy with one very small pillow. Air conditioner did not work and was not addressed.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast needed to be earlier so that I could make breakfast and my conference on time. Need more help with tours and interesting places to go for tourists. There was a sewer smell from the bathroom on occasion. Also, the air-conditioner was noisy in the room. I had an intermittent "growling" sound that was annoying. Close to Rotterdam Central station and the downtown center.

Jolly good city break hotel
Excellent. Arrived late at 2300 but check in was friendly and quick. Very friendly staff and excellent service by them throughout our stay. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast had excellent choice and high quality. Great that was able to have breakfast through to 1100 on weekdays. Excellent value for city centre hotel. Only 5 minutes from central station. Would definitely stay again.
Just 5 minutes walk from Rotterdam centraal station and 3 1/2 hours from London.

Well located, close to train station
This is a bigger property than I am used to in Europe; it is very busy and you may need to wait to check in. This being said, the staff are very friendly and you can tell are working hard to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. It is conveniently located not too far from the Centraal train station and you can also walk to the main sites fairly easily. It looked like it might be a bit sketchy at night so I did not stay out late. The room was very quiet facing the back with plenty of sun. A lot of furniture made it a bit tight but provided the extra comfort of a table. I would have liked the option of a do not disturb sign but there was none. You have to watch the AC because mine continually went to 30C when you pulled out the room key so you had to manually change it. Not many restaurants or stores close by. Breakfast was plentiful and you could have your eggs made to your liking fresh. Check out was seamless. Property is a bit dated but if you are staying for only a few nights, I would recommend. Interesting city!

Its a no fuss property. Good to stay for a night or two. The room wasn't very clean and the service at the reception was slow but maybe that was because we checked in at midnight. There was nowhere to get some water. After it finished in the vending machine, the person at the teception couldnt help us out either.

It was a 2 night stay and service at reception was outstanding, especially Courtney who was always helpful and smiling. I must say the property has a gem as Courtney will bring back many customers with her genuine way of helping guests feel welcome!

High prices, low quality
Quite expensive for the comfort it offers. We had no toiletries in our room, the beds were really uncomfortable, the shower drain clogged and so on. Bad experience overall for the price paid.

The location is good if you arrive/depart from the Central station. However, the pillows and blanket were huge, bulky and heavy and I could not sleep well due to that. The room did not have a fridge. Shampoo, conditioner and slippers were missing as well, which added to the inconvenience. The breakfast was only served from 8 a.m., which was too late for my check out time and generally relative to other hotels.

We found the location excellent. On a main street easily walkable to many sites - Koopgroot shopping area, Maritime Museum, Marketplace, gothic cathedral. Staff were super friendly and always took a moment to ask if they could do anything else for us.

The wallpapers were unique, the location and the employees were all great! The rooms were very cold, despite asking for it to be adjusted. The elevators were a little disfuntional.
