"I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located a little down from the busy area of town. Shepler’s ferry was very easy to take and go to Mackinac Island. Hotel picked up our luggage from ferry and was in the room when we arrived. Hotel was recently remodeled and was very beautiful. Loved sitting on the front porch watching people and carriages go by. Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating."

"Best Western is nothing if not consistent. Room, bed, pillows, towels, etc. were standard Best Western fare (which is why I prefer Best Western when I travel). The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was right on the lake and I was able to walk on the beach for some much needed exercise after my long drive. The property is within walking distance of many, many local restaurants and shops. The hotel was full of a girl scout convention of sorts and you wouldn't have known unless you visited the pool. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was good and hot with something for everyone. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. "
